Membership Information


LL Meeting

If you are looking to become a better public speaker, gain valuable communication and leadership skills, then Toastmasters International is exactly what you are looking for. There is simply no better value.

Latin Leaders is a Distinguished Toastmasters club consisting of prominent members of the Latino community in the Santa Ana area. Our club is bilingual so members improve both English and Spanish speaking skills. If you would like to join, we first invite you to attend a few meetings as a guest. You'll get to know the general meeting format and become familar with the other members of the club.

You may obtain a membership application from the V.P. of Membership or any other member. Fill out the application and submit your dues. You will receive a "New Member Kit" which contains the Communication manual and the Leadership manual. These manuals include the first ten speech projects and leadership projects you will make on your way to becoming a Competent Communicator and a Competent Leader.

Membership Fees

1. NEW MEMBER FEE Paid only by new members. Covers the costs of the New Member Kit and processing $20.00
1a. California clubs add 7.75% sales tax $1.55
2. TOASTMASTERS MEMBERHIP DUES »(July - September) Pro-rated at $4.50 per month. $13.5
3. LATIN LEADERS CLUB DUES »(July - September) Pro-rated at $2.50 per month. $7.5

4. TOTAL $42.55

A TOASTMASTER'S PROMISE

As a member of Toastmasters International and my club, I promise:

  • To attend club meetings regularly;
  • To prepare all of my speeches to the best of my ability, basing them on projects in the Communication and Leadership Program manual or the Advanced Communication and Leadership Program manuals;
  • To prepare for and fulfill meeting assignments;
  • To provide fellow members with helpful, constructive evaluations;
  • To help the club maintain the positive, friendly environment necessary for all members to learn and grow;
  • To serve my club as an officer when called upon to do so;
  • To treat my fellow club members and our guests with respect and courtesy;
  • To bring guests to club meetings so they can see the benefits Toastmasters membership offers;
  • To adhere to the guidelines and rules for all Toastmasters educational and recognition programs;
  • To maintain honest and highly ethical standards during the conduct of all Toastmasters activities.
