Latin Leaders is a
Toastmasters International club which meets every Tuesday night from 6:30 to 7:35.
Our club is bilingual. The first Tuesday of every month we hold the
meeting in Spanish and encourage our members to do their presentations/table topics in Spanish, although it
is optional and you may speak in either English or Spanish at any time. We strive to have two speakers every
week and a table topics session to give an opportunity for everyone to practice speaking. Additionally, all
members participate in meeting roles in an organized environment. Our focus is to improve leadership skills
as well as speaking skills in a way that is enjoyable.
The feedback from most people who visit us (and most of them join us) is that our club is very supportive of
all members, encouraging participation and providing positive feedback for the development of our members -
but you should experience that for yourself. You are welcome to join us as a guest any time and let us know
what you think. For more information email us at info@latinleaders.org,
or just walk in on Tuesdays and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I was just checking domain names today and wanted to see if latinleaders.org was available. That is the name I originally wanted to get when I set up this site, but it was already taken by an online gaming group in Canada. I guess that they have since closed up shop and the domain became available so I just snatched it up. For now I am simply redirecting http requests from the new site to the old site. Over time I would like to transition from using the old name to just using the new name. I suppose I will still have to keep the old name around for a while until it becomes forgotten.
