Welcome to our newest Latin Leader, Nahetzin. A la bim, a la bam, a la bim bum bam!!! Nahetzin is our second dance instructor to join LL. Maybe this is a message to our club. Dancing might be part of our mission statement. Which is good because dancing is action and action is what it takes to be successful. She did a wonderful job on her first table topics speech.

Tuesday’s meeting was great. Maria E. had “dancing in the rain” as our theme for the night. We all shared about dancing, rhythm, and/or rain. Salomon spoke about how he was “bailando bajo la lluvia en Croácia” on his last trip overseas. Fantastic speech! Dan motivated us to make effective plans. Make sure you write down your goals each month, week, and day. Good advice.

I leave you with the words of Yoda, the wise Jedi ” Do or do not, there is no try” If you want something, take steps everyday to make it happen. Indecision is worse than a bad decision in my opinion. Sitting on the fence never made anyone successful. If you are clear on what it is you want, take the steps every day to make it happen. Sometimes you will be successful and other times you’ll struggle. But each step takes you closer to the goal, regardless of the daily outcome.
